About the PHI Salon

Since 2007, PHI has been dedicated to presenting the most relevant ideas of our time through art and culture. Located right off the main entrance at 407, the Salon PHI is your gateway into this universe—a place to discover, meet, contemplate, and rest. It opens the door to our exhibitions, events, and education program that nourish curiosity and spark conversation.

The Salon PHI is a living space, and a destination always in motion. Free and open to all, it welcomes you with artistic and cultural offerings that change with the seasons: artworks from our founder Phoebe Greenberg’s personal collection, listening stations, video capsules, pop-up talks, and more. Whether you know us well or are visiting for the first time, the PHI Salon is a place to meet up, relax, discuss and engage meaningfully and discover something new.

PHI Contemporary Discussion: Architecture in Resonance with Artists
Wednesday, March 25, 2026 | 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

How can a cultural institution, through its architectural framework, truly serve artists? This conversation is the first in a series exploring the many facets of PHI Contemporary, a new space for art and culture set to open in Old Montreal. Guests will join Talia Dorsey, Head of Planning and Development at PHI, to reflect on how architecture can respond to the needs for spaces, structures, and resources that support the presentation of contemporary artistic practices—and, in doing so, foster deeper public engagement with them.

In French and English.
