Families are invited to participate in the creative activity T8ni tali kd'aïbna - Here, where we are designed by artist Mélanie O’Bomsawin.
Participants will have the chance to meet artist Mélanie O’Bomsawin, who will lead the workshop for this special occasion in conjunction with the exhibition Otherworlds by Jakob Kudsk Steensen.
This outdoor workshop invites participants to engage in a practice of listening and a sensory walk that will take us to a public park near PHI and close to the St. Lawrence River. Once there, we will awaken our senses to capture what is alive around us and become aware that we ourselves are part of this living network.
Through games of listening, observation, and creation, families will be invited to create a collaborative and sensitive mapping of the ordinary through a practice of shared attention, using drawings and words on tracing paper.
You don’t have to travel far to witness the extraordinary. It’s right here in the present moment, within reach. We just have to pay attention.
In case of rain, an indoor workshop will be offered.
