Echoing the way Nico Williams plays with everyday objects, transforming them into beadwork and creating surprising assemblages, often in community with other artists, families will be able to transform fragments cut from the packaging of everyday objects into their own Kaleido-collage. It's an opportunity to take a fresh look at common objects, and to playfully question how we value, or don't value, different objects. The workshop will take the form of a geometric collage, in 2D or 3D, depending on each participant's comfort level. It will be led by a PHI educator and preceded by a guided tour of Nico Williams: Bingo exhibition.
