The Artists are Present series explores the approach and initiatives of local talents seeking sustainable artistic development in their communities. Directly linked to the activities taking place in the PHI_portal, these artists advocate for greater involvement and innovation in their respective spheres.

Harry and Hanna both dreamed of something bigger than themselves. That's why they founded Never Was Average, an activist platform that seeks to build on identity development by fighting society trying to put people in boxes. Through the PHI_portal, the duo met Lewis Lee, curator of the Milwaukee portal, and were surprised by the common struggles they both face. An enlightening exchange on the current issues they need to address to inspire the next generations.
