The Artists are Present series explores the approach and initiatives of local talents seeking sustainable artistic development in their communities. Directly linked to the activities taking place in the PHI_portal, these artists advocate for greater involvement and innovation in their respective spheres.

Choreographer and performance artist, Andrea Peña is interested in universal human sensibility, particularly through her dual Canadian and Colombian identity. In a work that leaves room for the instincts of two participants that she presented in the PHI_portal in Montreal, she put forward the raw expression of body movements as a channel for the transmission of emotions. An authentic dialogue imbued with spontaneity.
