MIMS RADIO

A broadcast dedicated to music, MIMS Radio did not focus on any particular genre or style. “If we love it, we talk about it,” was the guiding force behind the show. Listeners had the chance to hear from international artists on what inspires them to create music. Exclusive performances, stories from the music industry, and plenty of throwbacks to genre-defining classics were also part of every broadcast.

From Guadeloupe, Grammy-nominated vocalist, songwriter and producer Malika Tirolien is an explosive mix of creativity, dedication and genuineness. Her love, passion and respect for music can be felt in the sparkling authenticity of her performances in which her soaring voice immediately grabs your attention and her well-crafted compositions present effusive emotions through conscious and engaged lyrics. Based out of Montreal, she has been garnering international attention for almost a decade, striking with her electrifying performance on “I’m Not The One,” a prime track on the Grammy-winning album Family Dinner Volume One by Snarky Puppy that has been inspiring countless covers worldwide.

In her new album HIGHER, Malika focused her musical efforts on creating a powerful concept theme album celebrating the strength and love carried by Black communities.
