doux soft club: bleu de lieu
July 6 → January 15, 2023
bleu de lieu is a participatory installation that invites the public to stay, to rest, to meditate and to interact with the different elements found in our Education Room
The PHI Foundation for Contemporary Art invited doux soft club, a collective composed of Chloë Baril-Chassé, Pénélope Bourgeois, Marion Paquette and Mariane Stratis, to take over its educational room during the exhibition Yayoi Kusama: DANCING LIGHTS THAT FLEW UP TO THE UNIVERSE. The artists talk about the idea of softness in their practice and their evolving installation, bleu de lieu.
The creation of bleu de lieu was made possible by the financial support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.
